ABOUT THESE GUIDES

Editorial policy

Wantlist publishes practical guidance for people building and launching apps. We distinguish source-backed facts, builder-reported claims and our own recommendations.

Sources and dates

Tool descriptions link to official documentation. Historical builder outcomes retain the date and attribution of the original report. A founder-reported revenue milestone is not independently audited revenue. Guides display a substantive review date; routine page requests do not refresh it.

AI assistance

These guides were drafted with AI assistance and source checking. We do not claim hands-on testing of every tool we describe. Our planned background curator will publish automatically only after its evidence, originality and relevance checks pass. That recurring service is not yet running.

Verification has a scope

A tool listing or educational note does not mean an application passed Wantlist verification. DNS ownership checks establish hostname control. Functional behavior and security require their own evidence.

Updates and corrections

When a material error is identified, the affected content should be corrected or withdrawn, with the reason retained in its revision history. Automated publication must not override missing evidence, unclear reuse rights or a withdrawal decision.

Recommendations

Fit suggestions are editorial assessments of the workflow a tool supports. We do not use invented ratings, fabricated reviews or undisclosed paid rankings. Provider pricing and limits can change; confirm them at the linked source before purchasing.
